More Nudes
I still do not understand figure on top of figure! I don't think I ever will, but this one I think is the better of ones I have done.
I'm finally getting able to fit the whole figure into the page, which was a problem I have been dealing with. Woo hoo!

Museum of Natural of History
A few weeks ago, I went to the Museum of Natural History with the On Location class with Susan, to use up our one free class. I had never been there before, and I was blown away! We drew for hours, and it was an overall great time. I definitely need to go back to the museum, and also I would love to take the on location classes next session. Here are some of the drawings I did.
I was obsessed with the elephants. At one point, Jeff made Susan and I lie down on the benches right next to them to look up from a different perspective, and it was just so incredible how big they really are.
I found a huge skeleton of a sea turtle that was hanging up and drew it from below. The skeleton just looked so interesting!
I never knew crabs like this existed. And the shadow it cast was just amazing.

When did July happen?
I'm not really sure why they tied her up with ribbon, but I guess it made for an interesting pose?
So, in all my nerd glory, I finished Harry Potter on monday, and it was incredible! I don't think I have ever read that much in such a short time span.
By the end of this week I would like to:
1. Finish Becky's tattoo design
2. Paint Becky's Horseshoe fence
3. 3 on location drawings for Jeff
4. Painting for Sara (as promised)
Hopefully I can do most of this! Where is the time going?

I haven't been doing much art at all this summer, except on mondays, where I have been taking figure drawing classes at the Drawing Studio with Susan. That has been a lot of fun, and since I have never taken figure drawing classes before, it's quite an experience. I still have a lot to learn but it's very exciting. So, expect a lot of titties in the next few posts, because thats pretty much all I have been drawing. Woo!
